Dr. Moes Nasser

     Dr. Nasser was born and raised in Tanzania, East Africa. He had his early education in East Africa and then went to college and medical school in Pakistan. Dr. Nasser moved to Houston, Texas in 1976 to pursue an education in Optometry. He graduated from the University of Houston with a Doctor of Optometry in 1982 and is a Therapeutic Optometrist as well as an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist.

     He began practicing in the West University area near the Texas Medical center and then moved his practice to the Willowbrook area in April of 1984. He established Family Eye Center in July of 1988 and has since opened two additional practices located in the Deerbrook and Greenway/Galleria Area.

     Dr. Nasser is a member of the Texas Optometric Association and the  American Optometric Association. He serves as the administrator of Vision Source for the Houston Metropolitan Area and is on the Optometric Advisory Board for Zeiss Opthalmic USA. Because of his diverse background, he speaks five languages other than English: Swahili, Urdu, Hindi, Kachi and Gujarati.

     He is very active volunteering within the community dealing with secular education and healthcare. An organization dear to his heart is Optometry Giving Sight to which he is a National Board Member and Honorary Chairman for the Texas to Tanzania project. In 2010, his leadership and vision took the Texas to Tanzania project to new heights, and funds were raised by doctors, patients and staff, culminating in the construction of the Bariadi Clinic in Tanzania just miles from where Dr. Nasser was born. This clinic helps thousands of people receive much needed eye care.

      His love of giving back to the community is surpassed only by his love for his family. He is married to his beautiful wife Anar and has two daughters – Faria and Sarah. Faria did her undergraduate at Columbia University, received her MBA at Rice University, and now works for Ernst & Young. Sarah received her undergraduate at Tufts University in Boston and will be attending Columbia Law School.

Dr. Poly de la Garza 

     Dr. Poly De La Garza is a native Houstonian, who graduated from Klein Oak High School. She then earned her bachelor's degree in biology from Texas A&M University and her doctorate from the University of Houston College of Optometry.

     Dr. De La Garza has undergone externships at the Eye Center of Texas, where she co-managed LASIK procedures, cataract surgery, and retinal disease, and at Conroe/Woodlands Eye Clinic where she specialized in retinal disease, pediatrics and binocular vision.

     Dr. De La Garza enjoys seeing children of all ages and has a background in developmental vision and vision therapy.

     She is a member of the Texas Optometry Association and the American Optometry Association. Dr. De La Garza is licensed as a therapeutic optometrist and an optometric glaucoma specialist.

Dr. Wendy Conde

      Dr. Wendy Conde received her optometric degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 2009. There she had the opportunity to work with several ophthalmologic professionals such as retinal, oculoplastic, and glaucoma specialists.

     Dr. Wendy Conde completed her clinical rotations at Albuquerque Indian Health Services as well as Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry. Both locations provided a background in retinal disease, glaucoma, ocular inflammatory disease and ocular surface disease.
Prior to joining Vision Source, Dr. Wendy Conde practiced in San Antonio where she performed the full scope of optometry including pre and post op cataract and lasix evaluations.

     Dr. Wendy Conde is currently a Therapeutic Optometrist and Glaucoma Specialist. This allows her to provide early detection of ocular disease and the ability to diagnose and treat several ocular conditions that may impair vision. Her professional memberships include the Harris County Optometric Society, Texas Optometic Association and American Optometric Association.
